Pumpkin Oatmeal

  • ¼ cup uncooked steel-cut oats
  • 1½ cups water
  • ¼ cup pumpkin purée
  • ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • chopped walnuts
  • Craisins
  • Maple syrup
  1. Cook the oats according to package directions. When the oats are almost done, stir in the pumpkin puree and spice . Allow to finish cooking (to heat pumpkin through). Put in a bowl, and top with maple syrup, nuts, and Craisins. (Or whatever you choose!) I added 1 tsp Chia seeds to mine.
